No, the frame is not included with the door slab. However, on every slab product page, there is an option to order a prehung set. You can select either a right-handed or left-handed prehung set to match the door slab.
If you order the door slab and prehung set, you will receive two packages. One package will contain the door slab, and the other package will be the prehung set, which includes the jamb and three black hinges.
The prehung set is easy to assemble and can save you much more money. We have attached a video below for your reference.
A full pre-hung door would be too big to ship by express company and hence logistic cost would be $200 higher. Also the damage risk would be higher. Hence, we separate the jamb and door and fully pass the logistic saving to our customer
The prehung set only takes 15 minutes to assemble! This saves you $100 in shipping costs. Please see the installation video below for a demonstration.
Currently we don't offer doors with lock hole as we see customers may have different needs on lock design, which having a pre-drilled lock hole would limit their choices. However, we understood that most of lock holes are the same in the market and we will provide products with lock hole very soon to meet different demands
Our prehung door does not have a pre-drilled lock hole. This is because based on customer feedback, they prefer to prepare the lock hole themselves for a DIY installation. We also offer an electronic lock option. Please let us know if you would like to place an order.
