Who is covered by this warranty?

This limited warranty only applies to the customer who originally purchased the product. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee of the product.

What does this limited warranty cover?

All hardware: We have strong confidence in all of our hardware and provide a 5-year full warranty on all hardware (worn-out finishes are not included). If a warranty claim is confirmed, we will send a brand new replacement hardware free of charge.
All doors: We offer a limited warranty of one year to cover defects in materials and workmanship. Please note that the warranty does not cover (a) improper use; (b) failure to follow the product instructions or perform any preventive maintenance; (c) modifications; (d) unauthorized repair; (e) normal wear and tear; or (f) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.

Note: Please inspect your product carefully before installation. This limited warranty does not cover any costs associated with return shipping, installation, or de-installation. These costs include, but are not limited to, contractor or installer time, travel, or transportation of the product for any reason.

Manufacturer Defect

Please send detailed pictures of the defective parts to info@arkdesignhome.com . Once we confirm the defect, we will send a new product or replacement parts free of charge.

Arrived Damaged or Missing Parts

It is necessary to open and inspect shipments upon arrival. Please take a photo of damaged parts or missing parts and send to email info@arkdesignhome.com . We will offer a solution within 24 business hour free of charge.

Buyer’s Remorse

If you need to return or exchange your order, please notify us via email at info@arkdesignhome.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Please note that the shipping cost will be deducted from the return amount.

Please note:

Customer designed custom projects cannot be returned. Installed products are not eligible for this return policy.
A returned product must be in a re-sellable condition to receive a full credit. We expect the same level of quality in returned products as we provide in our delivered products. Items that are returned damaged are not eligible for a full credit. Please ensure to take a photo of the returned item intact before you deliver to the carrier.
Please package the product properly to prevent shipping damage. You are responsible for loss or damage during return shipping.

Made by MDF Material

To protect your health, we only use MDF that has received CARB P2 certification. Our MDF is mainly made of pine wood, which not only has a water-proof surface, but also harder than nomal wood, more durable to bends, scratches or hits

Easy To Install

Our MDF barn door is wrapped with PVC, you don't need to paint the door which save your time and money. You just need to put the unassembled door panels together and use the screwdriver and hammer to install it. Within 30 min. you can get a beauty and durability door.

FAQ

Can the door be painted?

No, but the door is pre-finished and ready to use without painting.

Can the door be trimmed?

Yes, the door can be trimmed from top and/ or bottom side for at most 0.6'' each. You would need to re-drill the bore-holes on top and use wall mounted door guide (provided in optional accessories section).

Can you cut the rail if it’s too long?

Yes, we recommend to cut equally from both sides and keep as many holes for wall spacer as possible.

Does it have enough privacy? Is the glass safe?

Our glass is frosted so you cannot see through. It is also tempered and passed SGCC standard so it's very safe

Is this suitable for bathroom use?

Yes, it's water resistant and can be used in bathroom, laundry or other humid environment.

Can this be installed over door trim? Can this be installed on a carpeted floor?

Yes.

Is a lock for the barn door included?

It includes full barn door hardware set, 1 handle and 1 floor guide. Soft closing and lock are not included.

Can these doors work with floor guides that attach to the wall instead of the floor?

The package only includes a floor mounted door guide. But you can purchase a wall mounted in the optional accessories section above

I have an opening of 60”. Can I buy two doors and attach the top rails and make it a double door ?

Yes, but for barn doors, you need to buy a door 2 inches wider than the hole. Hence, we would recomment buying two 36-inch doors for a 60'' opening

When do I need a header board?

Normally, you can install the barn door hardware directly. However, if you have a non-concrete or drywall wall, you will need a header board
