What does this limited warranty cover?

All hardware: We have strong confidence in all of our hardware and provide a 5-year full warranty on all hardware (worn-out finishes are not included). If a warranty claim is confirmed, we will send a brand new replacement hardware free of charge.
All doors: We offer a limited warranty of one year to cover defects in materials and workmanship. Please note that the warranty does not cover (a) improper use; (b) failure to follow the product instructions or perform any preventive maintenance; (c) modifications; (d) unauthorized repair; (e) normal wear and tear; or (f) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.

Note: Please inspect your product carefully before installation. This limited warranty does not cover any costs associated with return shipping, installation, or de-installation. These costs include, but are not limited to, contractor or installer time, travel, or transportation of the product for any reason.

Pleasantly surprised

I was a bit concerned about ordering, after an unusual customer service experience. The phone line rings to someone in Hawaii that seems to have little knowledge of the doors. I am very happy with the quality of the doors. The instructions are lacking in detail, but common sense goes a long way. I received a part, in a separate box, with no instructions and no indication where to install. I'm not even sure that it belongs with the door! Overall, a nice product for half of the others on the market.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This is one heavy duty door. Each panel is extremely heavy but my wife and I were able to move them into position using 4 suction cup handles for moving glass. The instructions were a bit lacking but we double checked things as we went and were able to install the door on a Saturday. I love how it turned out and am very impressed by the quality, especially for the price! We should have done this years ago. This door is exactly what we were looking for.
